13 reasons why season 2 rape scene

This is a tricky issue which I discussed in my original review. While it may be a well-acted, well-written drama, the content of the show has drawn fire from some groups who claim it glorifies suicide, and discussing of the show has even been banned a school in Canada. Which I suppose is another lesson the show wanted to impart.ġ3 Reasons Why will return, no doubt, to more controversy. I did think Alex’s descent into depression was well done on the show, as he’s always sort of in the background, but it’s easy to recognize the signs if you’re paying attention. And we know why Alex was depressed enough to try to kill himself, given the events surrounding Hannah’s death. But…would this even work? We know why Tyler is so angry because we saw him bullied all last season. In the season two tease, it ends with what looks like a YouTube play button, so maybe instead of tapes, we get vlogs calling people out instead. I can theoretically see these last two tragedies being twisted into the “13 Reasons” format. And we have Tyler, a kid bullied as much as Hannah (even by our story’s “hero,” Clay) and it’s revealed that he’s stockpiling guns for a potential school shooting. Besides that, we have Hannah’s friend Alex, who apparently has also tried to kill himself with a gunshot to the head, though he may not be dead.
